Report: outside forum guidelines

Transporting the outboard has always been a bit of a pain. I'm not comfortable leaving it mounted on the transom while bouncing along on the trailer so I remove it from the mount. When I had the big pickup, I'd just tie it down in the bed and all was cool. With the Montero I was sticking it in the rear cargo area, but this was not really acceptable, carpet & two strokes are not a good mix. Plus, the last thing I need is additional weight in the back of the tow vehicle.

Anyway, I was looking at the trailer last night, and I really can't figure out how I've missed this solution for the past four years!! Check it out.
