the other side then start the finish sanding. If all goes right in a week or two it will be painted and back on the boat.

The black marks are the places where I had to grind divots out and were marked to make sure we put extra glas patches there to build it back up to a level surface. Unfortunately when the rudder was built there were a lot of air pockets left which I had to grind out.

Now the rudder is very stiff. Before, if you stood it upright, put your knee against mid height and pulled on the top, the rudder would flex at the thin neck, which is where it fractured.

This week I'll also try to get back to the electrical rewiring which got abandoned when I discovered the rudder fracture.
