Roller furler jam

Report: outside forum guidelines

I bought a used, Lewmar, roller furler on eBay to replace the old (self-destructing) old one. The aluminum extrusions came, separated from the stay except for the last one, which is still on the stay, and all the plastic connector pieces are jammed inside. Any ideas on how to dissolve the locktite that is jamming the connector pieces? Solvents? Steam? brute force to pound out the pieces? Other? Help!!

Thanks, Ted 1975 Catalina 27 "Windrush"
