Keel Bolt!

My wire is not, to the best of my knowledge, part of a bonding system. It is to connect the giant lightning rod I fly my sails from to the keel. I doubt anything will protect my electronics from a direct hit, but just maybe it will protect me and the hull.
In any event, that is the system as set up at the factory (I merely replaced the wire as part of my repair). As noted by one of the other responders, my keel is covered with anti-fouling paint but NO fiberglass or epoxy.
