If permanent Loctite was used, the manufacturer states that heat must be used to free the threads. Specifically, a torch, as an electric heat gun generally won't provide enough heat, though I'd try the electric method before the torch, if there are any plastic parts. Sometimes, boiling works, but you really want to get the piece to 250 degrees and disassemble it while it is still hot.
