not another keel nut question

Ok, maybe it is.

I got all the rotten wood out of my keel, and finally managed to expose the shaft of one of the old bolts. I managed to break the washer loose so I can actually see the shaft of the bolt. The threads down under are quite intact, so I plan on replacing the nuts.

Everything I have read, and my eyes tell me that the bolts are mild steel (1975 vintage). So, should I try to match the replacement nuts with mild steel to prevent a galvanic reaction between dissimilar metals, or would 316 stainless be OK. If I need to match, how do I know what kind of steel to buy?
