I've seen photos of the operation. Taking the galley cabinets out doesn't help much because you still can't get to the pump. The pictures I saw someplace showed cutting a hole around the exisiting pump to remove it. The hole was covered with a piece of teak varnish to match after a new pump was installed. I believe the person who did this replaced the foot pump with an electric demand pump. You can get those anywhere. West Marine, or any toher marine dealer but I would look at an RV dealer first.
