Report: outside forum guidelines

Hi All: I'm a new Cat 27 owner, my boat is presently in Salem Ma. though i am in Penna. Question, surveyor was pleased with the boat, overall, but was concerned with water accumulating in Port settee, it has no place to go but sit there. Would the first possible culprit be the chainplates?? Bulkheads were good, no rot or staining. If so, any suggestions on sealing them? Great site!!! Thanx.
