Hutch, This is my second boat over 7500 lbs that I have been trailering over to the coast in the summer. My last boat was a 1990 Capri 26. I have never had any problems with the 400 mile one way trip. Some of the mountain passes may drop the speed down to around 35 mph but I have never needed to floor the vehicle to get over the passes.
