In Response To: There is one in our club (Craig Cook, C27 Blue Moon)

The only problem with Craig's suggestion is that a partially furled genoa is a very inefficient sail, this being one of the reasons I quit racing. If, however a 100% is adequate for your use there is no better rig than a self tending jib especially for sailing shorthanded.
