My boat had the full set which have subsequently died of old age. I liked the wind direction indicator as it saved me from craning my neck up the mast but when the wind speed indicator died I could care less as it is very easy to decide when to put in a reef or take one out. When your elbows get wet there is too much wind, when the boat stops, not enough.
