Rick, did this problem get resolved?

In my experience, this problem is almost always the result of either the boomvang or mainsheet being too tight. When that happens, the leach of the sail pulls tight before the luff does, and prevents the sail from being fully raised.

If nothing else works, next time this problem occurs, try checking both control lines to see if they need to be released.
