How to rebuild exhaust elbow- parts???

Report: outside forum guidelines

So a recent survey on my boat showed carbon dust just aft of the manifold and is a concern to the buyer. I'm hoping there is no hole or at least very minor that I can try to patch with epoxy. I thought I remember reading an article from "Mainsheet Magazine" put out by Catalina in their technical articles. It explained the sizes/lengths of pipe to use with a photo, and the process of rebuilding. Does anyone know where I can find this info or have experience replacing their own exhaust? I'm hoping for the best but planning for the worst. I'm heading to the boat today to start unwrapping the lagging.
