cockpit drains

Thanks for the input Chip. Last spring I routed the bilge drain out the transom via a scupper, and also covered the wet locker transom drain with another scupper. My biggest concern is keeping water that enters there draining out the stern and not leaking down around the other openings like where the bilge outlet hose enters the locker. That and not keeping anything in there that I'm not worried about getting wet. If I was going offshore I would def be more concerned about it but in the western end of lake erie where I sail, I'm generally not too concerned with following seas as I am making sure that spilled beer doesnt stink up the lazerette Just wondering if anybody had an easy fix.
