Cockpit drains

Myold boat had the cockpit drains led through the transom,, via plastic tees. they were always a problem as they tended to plug up and periodically the adhesive holding them in place would fail. Two years ago I did away with the transom drains and let the cockpit drain right into the wet locker. Result, the cockpit drains twice as fast.
