I had a little more of a poke around on the web and found a slightly more affordable although still expensive option from Denmark. The Thoosa 6000 system is intended to replace 12-18Hp engines, runs off 48 Volts instead or 144V and the system weighs little more than a Diesel with tank, etc. Price through NGC Marine looks like $6443.
