Marty, I think you did a great job. Barry is just jealous he can't get hit by a Tug from behind and do more damage to the Tug instead of the Catalina. Ha Ha. Just kidding. But really a transom outboard mount is way more ugly and not near as good of a solution as you did as the motor mount braket puts the weight to far aft. As for my transom beefup, I have had many sailboat owners complement mine and want it done to their boat as well. As far as water penetration, it looks like you sealed it up pretty good. Ed
