In Response To: Cat 27 side windows/rudder (Randy Huyck)

I was toying with the idea of adding a small outward opening portlight facing forward on the sloped part of the deck in front of the forward hatch. It would bring some light in and could be opened while sailing, at least in light seas or winds, as opposed to the forward hatch, which can't be open while sailing.
I don't think I'll ever get to that idea since my boat seems to be rapidly disintegrating.
