Fresh Water System

Howdy:

I have an '82 Catalina that we are restoring. The cabin is almost complete. Currently we are ripping out the old fresh water system and updating it to an electric one while still keeping the foot pump in the gallley. Everything has been replaced or cleaned except the water tank. From what I can tell that water tank is not going anywhere. The tank I think has been used in the past but not since we owned the boat. Judging by the tubes we removed it could be pretty nasty down there. Does anyone have any recomendations on how to clean the tank? Should I drain the tank before I hook up the new system. I was thinking just bleach and water? Any suggestions?

Thanks -Craig
