Yesterday was my first chance to sail our new Sun Cat, MOXIE, before she travels to her new Idaho home. It was a real joy! Tom Ray wanted to shoot another YouTube video and we made several passes close (one a little too close!) to a pier from which the video was being shot. I'm sure the boat looked good. The camera probably missed my ear-spliting grin. The boat is a delight to sail. The current end-boom sheeting does seem cumbersome; I'm going with Mark's solution.
The setup and launch was amazingly easy. I was little upset at Gulf Island Sail's filming me lifting the mast when I had never done it before. If I could do it with four thumbs in 30 seconds, anyone else can do it more quickly.
I don't know if it's appropriate to plug a particular Com-Pac dealership on this forum, but all the folk at GI Sails are all a delight to deal with. The owner, Ed Benson, told me that they sell more Sun Cats than anyone.
