Just got back from Florida with my Suncat

I finally figured out why I sold this Suncat:

IT MATCHES MY CAR
We drove about 2200 miles from Binghamton, NY to Melbourne, FL in three days. We had a flat trailer tire in Virginia, but other than that the boat towed really well. Great previous owner who really kept the boat in new condition and really has all the electronics one could want (well.. radar would have been nice )

OK, I know that the engine is rather large for the boat (9.9) and I mentioned to the PO that I was probably going to replace the engine with a Honda 5hp, but he convinced me to sail it first and insists there is no problem with that much weight on the stern. He really beefed up the outboard bracket to take the weight and has two batteries up front to off-set the weight. With the 9.9, he got electric start, an alternator and a throttle in the cockpit. Can't wait to try it.
