The name of the game, like everywhere else is!"Stay on the Damn Boat" What I am reading between the lines on all of this sail raising issue is: You need a mechanical advantage to get u'r sail up to where it belongs. My suggestion is mount a very simple Winch, one that U do NOT need a handle for. In my 2006 W.M. catalog on pg 877 is a simple Marelon winch which for 69.99 would do the job for U. U probably could find similar on E-Bay for a lot less. Just one SAIlOR/SEAMAN'S VIEW!
