Even if I'm not designing the boat I feel I have a better chance of building a worthy craft the more I know about structural concepts. There's another mark to put on her timeline, too. Out on Matagorda Island I pretty much got the bug to build a Core Sound, but today is a red-letter day, too. The kit is ordered as of this morning, and I just got back from the Post Office - the plans are here, along with a picture CD! For the moment she's still just a daydream without a name, just a license to build Hull #226. With good fortune and work, I hope she'll take form and carry me where I otherwise might not go.
