What do you do for food on a long cruise?

Report: outside forum guidelines

The boom gallows is fixed and I found a gas leak in the engine (had the same problem with the last Suncat as well ) so the motor is running much better.

My 15 year old son Tyler and I are going on Cruise #1 in the North Channel with the trailer sailor's. We'll be the smallest boat on the cruise, so I'll have an excellent opportunity to get some stern shots of the other boats . Since school is finally over, planning has begun and I'm trying to figure out how to eat on the 7-day cruise.

I own a Jetboil cooker that I'll probably use. Or, I could buy and install a barbecue on the stern or bring a propane stove (though I'm concerned with the space it would take).

Incidentally, I was the king of boiling bags (and pizza) before I got married (my wife quickly and mercifully took over the cooking duties) so the simpler the better. I have been toying with the idea of dehydrated foods (see link below). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
