And we really think we didn't have the lid snapped tightly. We were given several since we don't have pets ( other than me) and we love them- store easily, stack neatly and keep things dry. PLUS you can see what's in there kinda sorta. Only thing is the labels are sealed onto the bucket so they cannot be removed without damaging it. Oh well! I wish I had four or five more of them.
