Bob, I'm not at the wheelie stage yet.

I actually drove 22mph today back & forth on a small road mile in length. I had a Honda 150cc in England that drove 57mph. I used the motorways and couldn't keep up with car traffic so I road at the left edge. Cars would zoom past me and the wind would shake me to my shoes. I drove the 57mph, wobbled, and was in fear and trembling. Nearly got killed in those roundabouts several times.

At this later point in my life, I've been hospitalized so many times, I'm a bit more cautious and fearful than when I was 25 in the British Isles. And to be honest, my coordination's just not as good. I turned tightly today but it was shaky. My foot was out several times ready to slide along the ground. I'm having Mom over from the Old Folks' Home for a BBQ tomorrow and there will be no mention of motor scooters.

But isn't my vintage scooter a sweetie pie?! Geez, I almost forgot. Just like a boat... it's got to get a name. That color is the original Portofino Green. I need to be in Rome, buzzing around the Coliseum.
