My Piaggio BV 250 uses the same engine as the GTS 250. Bought mine in May from the same dealer as Starr (the blogger). Getting 60 mpg on mine now - supposed to get 70 mpg when broken in. My 11 y/o daughter wants a Vespa like yours in Carolina Blue. Take your time, get comfortable with it, and have fun. Bill
