Hey Craig,
I sure would like to see some pics of your lazy jack arrangement. I just installed the Sailcare system on my SunCat and am not at all sure I am going to like it. I thought maybe I could leave the cords attached while sailing but they pull up on the boom so hard it doesn't look like that would work. Sounds like your idea could work but I don't have a clear picture in my head from the description.
And oooh it was hard to drill that first hole in my new SunCat.
