Swinging on mooring

There's a simple way to almost eliminate that typical swinging on the mooring. I learned it from someone on this forum.

Just put the tiller all the way over to port or starboard and tie it off. (I put a leather glove over the end to prevent scraping the side). My Stur-dee Cat rides on her mooring as nicely as the sloop rigs around her. Minimal swinging!
