...get some out of some bee hives I was working on all over the concrete shop floor. Oh yeah, I skated a few times before I finally mopped it and wore it all off. I came real close to busting my butt BAD! That floor was as slick as a con man.
What's hanging up Bob? I noticed that you were thinking about changing from cringles to mast hoops. I had a hanging up problem once when the diameter of my cringles was too small. After I remade them I also wrapped the cringles with teflon tape to reduce the friction. It seemed to help a lot.
The best way I've found to keep things from hanging up is to heep the gaff throat ahead of the peak until the luff gets tight. THEN peak the gaff. That solved about 3/4 of my problems.
