Did the Menger Cat ever get delivered?

A question for the forum. Has anyone heard from a recent forum poster, who had purchased a new Menger catboat from the guy who took over the production line? It seems like an awful long time has passed since he has posted and I am just curious if his boat was ever delivered to him. Another individual showed an interest in acquiring a new Menger cat, but I am very reluctant to point him in that direction if the new company isn't delivering a quality product. Has anyone heard anything 'good' coming out of the new company? I am horrible with names and I can't find the post in the listings anymore.....Help?
