Carl, Nobska does have a very interesting history to her. One thing for sure, she sits up on that hill overlooking the incredibly ugly chop that is formed by current and wind....it is intimidating to the sailor trying to break out of its grasp! I wonder how many vessels did not make it past that point in the days of sail alone!
