Great to hear the news on a new job. Hope it fits you well and you to your new enviroment as a compliment to that business. May both you and employer suceed going forward.

First 99% of personnel on the ground had never witnessed mass causalties before, even most veterans from Nam.
The pilot wanted to land on the runway but when he couldn't laid her down in the corn field next to it. He dumped as much fuel as he could to make a one time attempt. He did an amazing landing of a huge bird and as how many survived. Shifting weight by people in the aircraft in that size of an aircraft, very hard to calculate. I don't know.
