I have just recently purchased a CM21 that is in need of paint and a complete interior re-do. The hull has been stripped of hardware and windows, and is ready to be painted in the spring (PLEASE HURRY) and was wondering about the guy in Fla with all the dented cans. Pardon my ignorance, but I see by his ads that all the paint is bottom paint. Does that mean it's for below the waterline only. I would like to paint mine a nice shade of green, since the boat I am cannibalizing has green cushions and sail cover, so I thought I would buy some of that half priced stuff. Any thoughts? Surface prep, How about how much paint should I need? I plan to paint the deck and cockpit white and the boat itself green. Also I would appreciate any info about the bot in general.
