Regarding the idea of updating the Manual, I like the idea although I am afraid, I would be more consumer than contributer. I do have one thing to offer. I have a fair amount of experience publishing scholarly material in collaboration with others. New writing boards have made this much more efficient then ever before. The way you would use this effectively is you would post the entire manual on the website. People could contribute as they wished. Each time a contribution is made it shows up as a different color. People make comments which show up as a different color still. Either one senior author or an editorial board (must be a small group or it doesn't work) determines at some point that a contribution should become part of the manuscript. They and only they can then with the stroke of the mouse and a couple clicks make the change permanent. My last book publisher used this process to recommend changes and I would pass them if appropriate and it worked great. Very efficient. The best sites charge a very small fee for the software. MIke
