(pic) (Greg CM26 Seattle CLM005771173) Greg, Out of curiosity, I thought I'd actually look on the stern for the manufacturers stamp to verify the HIN on the registration. As you can see, it checked. Yes, I know you said there's another plate on the inside of the hull, but I wasn't in the mood for going inside just now. Maybe later today, after football, I'll get inside to do a little cleaning up. What still has me mystified is, what was the manufacturers expectation for supporting the boom? When the boat was brand new, and someone bought it, what held up the aft end of the boom? Also, in the photo you posted Greg, you show the keeper pin several inches below the boom. So what are you using to keep it up (no pun intended), since you don't seem to prefer a track stop? Russ
