Keel bolt lock

I have read many of you write about a bolt that locks the keel in place when down. I have looked all over my keel box and have not seen any such hole or bolt that might fill it. I do, of course, see the big bolt that attatches the keel to the hull. Were boats made without this lock? Mine is a Mexican CM 26.
