Hey Tim,

Concentrate your efforts on the area 7.25" forward of the center of your keel pivot bolt, at about the same height. If it ever had a lock bolt like domestic CM26s, that's where it would have been. You might try peeking up the front part of the keel next time it's on the trailer: you might be able to detect the hole in the keel (see illustration). I haven't tried doing that.

Don't know about those Mexican boats, though, so I'd still find it interesting to give your boat a look-over one of these days. Which part of Case inlet?
