Do any of you CM26 F/D owners experience a slight deck flexing when standing or walking between the mast step and V-berth hatch? When we had our vessel surveyed two years ago he "dissed" it by saying the deck was "spongy". I believe that part of the deck is, albeit somewhat thin, fiberglass; e.g., no plywood layer that could become waterlogged (?). Any comments? Also, anyone have advice on reinforcing the transom motor mount area? Ours is suffering compression cracks from motor mount overtightening. That part of the transom looks to be hollow in the middle. Am thinking of filling in the gap from below to strengthen that part of the transom. Thanks for your feedback! You're a great help to keep our marvelous vessel going.
