Hi Dave, that is the exact same support I have with my 26, I'm trying to rig a self raising system like Mike uses, and was thinking of adding a 1" tubeto the out side and drill holes for a pin. That way when I go to raise the mast I can get it up higher for more leverage. I think I want a rubber roller on top so I can move the mast fore and aft. The whoe thing will have to be braced with bungie cords attached to the stern rail. How does that idea strike you?
