Hi Dave, that is the exact same support I have with my 26, I'm trying to rig a self raising system like Mike uses, and was thinking of adding a 1" tubeto the out side and drill holes for a pin. That way when I go to raise the mast I can get it up higher for more leverage. I think I want a rubber roller on top so I can move the mast fore and aft. The whoe thing will have to be braced with bungie cords attached to the stern rail. How does that idea strike you? Tom in Tampa, clm 26
