I used 3/4" EMT conduit, two pieces about 7' long. I flattened one end in a vise (and finished with a hammer) and squeezed the other end in the vise to about 1/2" thick. Then I slotted that 1/2" thick end to fit over the forward chain plates and drilled a 1/4" hole for a ball pin. Then bent the slotted end with a conduit bender so when the 'A' frame was mounted the slots would be in line with the chain plates and pivot freely. I bent the other ends so they would be flat together at the apex. Drilled holes at the apex end for the jib halyard and a raising tackle. Don't have any pics yet.
