Crossing the gulf streem

Report: outside forum guidelines

I have a CM30 with a 10 hp in the hole. I would like to plan a trip down the Intrercoastal Waterway to FLorida where I would like to cross the gulf streem to the Bahamas. Can anyone see why a Clipper 30 could not make that crossing? I realy think of our boats as very sea worthy. Please reply also to my e mail.
