That would be southern Illinois and east of St Louis, Missouri. It's about 45 min to one hour away. Usually sail April through October though I only sailed my CM last year during October. I also have an 18 foot Buccaneer which I usually sail over in Creve Coeur Missouri. My sailing buddy has a San Juan 21 which we usually sail also. After October the boat yard and dock in Carlyle is closed and boats are brought home and stored. I don't have any pictures sailing or I would send some. Whenever I become skilled at sailing I probably would like to go to the Gulf of Mexico area or Baja California. Those beaches and bays look like paradise.
