at some point a previous owner installed a wooden bowsprit and repositioned the stemhead, etc on our 32' CM. We're installing roller furling and have taken the old bowsprit off. We have another stemhead we want to put on, but need to know if we're OK with a flat plate on deck, or if it originally had a special stemhead fitting below decks. There is no such fitting there now.
