Hey Vince!
How did you make out on the measurements on your stays?
While you've been putsing I had two great days (Feb 7&8) to head North and work on extending my dock before another Artic Blast.
Made it 11 miles up the lake with my truck with my snowmobile and culvert in tow. Last two miles was done by snowmobile. We could see the island when I had to turn the truck around.
Two days of blue sunny skys, 28 plus and no wind lent an enjoyable cutting out 20 inch thick ice and drop in a 4'dia by 5.5' culvert what we call a crib to build our docks on. Four hours and job done that would take more than a day in the summer.
Left-Right in the Pic is myself and my friend Mike. Culvert isn't filled with rock yet that was ready and covered on shore.
Cabin was toasty, several movies over night, had a sauna too and a snow blanket for a cool down.
9 day count down to Bali.
