I noticed there isn't a whole lot on the electrical side of things at first too. My own electric system is a cobbled mess, and it is all getting torn out and replaced once enough snow melts so I can get to my boat(still in about 4 feet of snow!). If it didn't take all day for dial up internet to upload a pic, I would post one. The only time I even used any lectric stuff last season was after I replaced and rewired the bilge pump.
Updates I have in store are a new mast light, vhf radio, electric winch with manual backup, fore and aft lights, new wires everywhere, new fuse box, and route some wires for the elecrtic start on the outboard(75 pulls to start sucks!). Then, I plan to tackle the interior.
Electrical stuff is not very difficult, and since we use (mostly)DC on our boats it is even easier. Just time consuming and generally in tight quarters. If you are going to replace any wires, which I would reccomend if they are original or look to be, the easiest way is one at a time and buy only red and black wires. Use red for + and black for -. Good luck!
