I have an old CM21 and I want to get going on the project. Still 3 ft of snow around it. I need to replace the winch. I have sailed a MacGregor 25 and had replaced the manual winch with a 12v ATV style winch, I ran dual switches, one in the cockpit and the other one ran off of the Auxiliary battery. It worked very well. I would like to try a similar set-up on my CM21. I was wondering if anyone has tried this. If there is someone, I'd appreciate any input. I'm considering a 2000lb 12v winch that I've seen on EBAY for 65.00.
