Report: outside forum guidelines

Hello, I'm re-rigging my boat with 1/8" sta-loks. I was wondering if it would be poor practice to use 3/16" D-shackles on the lowers--otherwise the stay-lok eyes don't fit in the tangs. I already have the hardware. I was planning on doing the same on the head and backstays as well. Thanks, Brent
