Report: outside forum guidelines

Gotg back from sailing today, stood the mast to clean the boat and noticed this frey in my stay. the opposite side did this last time and I trimmed it off and went anyway this last time. Wondering how long I sould risk it. And when the time come, who should I have replace it. I live in the Lake Tahao area so there should be someone that I can take it to. Any Ideas would be great!
