I have access to 5 hp ESKA motor. Problem is, one has to turn motor backwards to reverse and the cover won't clear the cutout on the boat. I have seen the motor mounts that extend the motor about 5-6 inches. Is the transom strong enough to handle moving the motor out that far? thanks Dan
